General Information
Our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator provides group, one on one activities and entertainment for residents and they are actively encouraged to continue with hobbies or try new ones! For all residents we offer sensory awareness and stimulation exercises. A hairdresser visits once a week and the chiropodist visits every six weeks. Residents are able to keep their own GP (if they agree) or they can choose to change to a local GP.
Medical needs are also overviewed by District Nurses and the most up to date equipment is provided to promote good safe practice when handling and moving residents.
Our experienced and highly qualified Home Manager is supported by a team consisting of NVQ and non-NVQ trained Care Staff, a housekeeping team, a maintenance man, dedicated Chef and Cook.
Our staff are all trained in line with the national minimum standards and this is supplemented with additional training to promote best practice and encourage self development.
The care we offer is person centred with the uniqueness of individuals being recognised and promoted in a safe caring environment.
Visitors are welcome at any time and are always able to stay and enjoy a meal with the residents they are visiting.
If you would like to visit us, either call in or please contact the Home Manager who will be pleased to arrange an appointment.
