Brambling Lodge

Brambling Lodge is a small long term residential home registered for those with dementia related illnesses requiring a high level of care assistance. Situated between Dover and Canterbury in the quiet rural setting of Shepherdswell, the village is within easy access of the A2. It is also served well by public transport being situated on the main London to Dover rail line and having a regular bus service between Dover and Canterbury. The village post office and convenience store are within a comfortable walking distance of the home.

Brambling Lodge is able to provide care for 27 older residents who have dementia. There are 25 bedrooms, approx half of which have en-suite facilities and a double bedroom suitable for couples or friends wishing to share. The accommodation is on two floors which are served by 2 stairways and shaft lift. The home has a large lounge opening up into a large conservatory overlooking the large attractive garden, a dining room and a further quiet lounge for residents to use as they desire.
