Respite care
At 1st Choice Care Homes, we understand how difficult it can be to cope with the demands of caring for the elderly whether it is a relative or you are a professional carer on a long term basis. We all need a break when faced with such demands and each of our homes provides a perfect location for any elderly non resident to reside temporarily for a few days to a few weeks.
With respite care, our aim is to provide continuity of care within a comfortable home from home environment and to minimise disruption to the carer and their charge and to assist in this we will establish a full care and assistance programme prior to admission. We have a large qualified staff who are able to attend to any special requirements giving reassurance that every need will be catered for while you relax and take a well earned break.
Please note that not all of our homes offer a respite service and you should enquire with the individual home with regards provision of this service.
